Shes his motivation in what he does. He doesn't dislike other people, just doesn't really consider talking to them much and thinks about other things. He's often stuck in his thoughts and doesn't really care anymore whether or not something that happens is fair or not. It just happens. | Username: curtis_sw117 OC Name: Sho Kirigaya (means "to fly" or "to soar") Picture (optional): Bio (info about character): Sho never knew his father, and when he was just 3 years old, his prostitute mother abandoned him and his 1-year-old half-sister, Sora, at the doorstep of their Uncle's. The town that they grew up in had harsh and cold winters, and the people of the town were harsher and colder than the winter itself. Growing up, Sho's uncle was a drunkard and would beat Sho brutally. Fearful and protective of his sister, he would take her lashings too. The residents of the town knew of the beatings but turned a blind eye due to the fact that Sho and Sora were illegitimate children. Throughout this time, Sho turned to music for comfort, and his and Sora's brother-sister bond grew exponentially through the trials that they endured. When Sho was just 11 and Sora was 9, Sora was diagnosed with leukemia. Poor and indifferent, the Uncle did nothing for Sora and secretly hoped that the leukemia would take her fast so he would have one less mouth to "attempt" to feed. Distraught with fear, 11-year-old Sho took on as many jobs as possible to take care of Sora. He took her to a hospital where she was treated for 2 years, paying all the bills himself while working. Over the years, Sho would drop out of school and nearly kill himself from exhaustion by working up to 5 jobs and over 75 hours of work a week just to take care of his sister. One night, Sho's Uncle drank himself to death, leaving Sho with no home due to the fact that no one would take in the "bastard child." While sleeping under bridges and in different homeless shelters, Sho still worked as much as possible to keep Sora in good care. But as Sora grew sicker, the bills became more expensive. One cold winter night, Sho found that he could no longer pay the bills to keep Sora in the hospital, and the cold, heartless hospital workers kicked Sora out. With nowhere to take refuge from the winter storm and no one to help them, Sho desperately tried to keep Sora warm while huddled beneath a bridge. She died in his arms that night. It was the next day that Sho realized that the only other thing he had in the world besides Sora was his music. Having never gone to high school due to always working for Sora, Sho took his rusted acoustic guitar and decided to travel the world to study all different kinds of music and it's culture. All her mother's cooking tasted to rich, she could see halfway across the town, she could hear ants, and smell like a dog. Her parents took her to many specialists, none of them could really help though. In the end, Akira and her parents found a way to make it easier for Akira to live. Together, they trained her senses so she can control them. Now 16, Akira is living a normal, peaceful life again, with her 'Enhanced Senses' as doctors call it. Outwardly she may be cold and mature for her age, but she'll be childish and sweet once she gains interest in the person. 21 years old ver Bio (info about character): A young lady who never changed her childhood outer shell of being cold and mature, however, she becomes more honest as person to the point where she can offend someone without knowing it. She is a heavy drinker, even able to be sober for a long time. After loosing a bit of interest in the internet, Mi decides to travel around the world (which was inspired by the action games she use to play online) , well at the same time, trying to avoid meeting new people. If the circumstances don't allow it, she'll eventually select the person who she has taken an interest in among those she is forced to "associate with" and focus her attention on them (to the point where it makes it uncomfortable for the other person). While Mi is still as cold as she as since her childhood, once she has taken strong interest in a person, she will treat him/her as family. Username: magiclighter OC name: Yoku Picture (optional): Bio (info about character): A 40 year old male who looks about 25 and has had a rough past life. He is quiet and listens attentively in all situations, and ALMOST has an eidetic memory. He is VERY good with money and wears glasses, has green hair and typically wears a black shirt. He also talks with a ruffled grumpy voice but when serious talks clearly. As a child he was abandoned by his greedy parents and sold off to a market where he traveled on ships and boats as a slave. He escaped at the age of 18 embarking into a "new land" where he has never seen before but commonly known as the cities, where hundreds of buildings stand. He has his own engineering company (after funding it by working as a drug dealer for a couple of years) where he mends ships and builds them too. Yoku is an extremely dangerous man as he lures women and use them for his secret "businesses". He is currently a drunken alcoholic and almost in debt £10,000 ( $15,000 ) for reasons unknown. He is a greedy sly thief that is wary about his surroundings and always detects danger. He has no family and no friends; all of his employees despise him - deep down inside he is and always will be the first person to betray you and get away with it. | Character Number #2 username: magiclighter OC name: Hana ( 18 years old ) Bio: As a child Hana was always bright and enthusiastic in learning and was an academic genius that everyone else was jealous of.She wears glasses and has brown flowing hair. She would often miss classes as she was too bright for them and study all day by herself or go out with the few friends she had that were very close to her; as they help her in the depressing moments of her life. The teachers however adored her as she always got the very top score in tests. She never grew up with her parents' as the family was split up after her birth for a reason that cannot be told and so she used to live in an orphanage where life was pretty tough. Her number one priority is to venture out to unknown lands and find her parents' as she figures they are somewhere in Japan. Currently she is 18 and living on her own and working part time in a run down shop. She is talkative when the situation is right but when the atmosphere is cold she takes a deep breath and analyzes the scenario. She is also picky about what she eats and even refuses to eat the foods she hates in a life death situation. Hana doesn't trust guys and never will; she doesn't believe in "the knight in shining armor" and is an independent woman, however at the core of her heart she just wants to trust one nice guy that will treat her right. She is also artistic as she aspires to make new innovative buildings and create her own world full of them. She lives as a drifter, moving from town to town, taking on different tasks and living off the land (hunting). Despite her nomadic lifestyle, she desperately wants to find a place she can call home, but she's been searching since the age of 12. Edit:Despite her introverted and distant nature, she is fiercely loyal to those she considers to be her friends, even if she doesn't always show this directly (I hope I'm not writing a tsundere here, lol). Damn, still don't know what else to write, might just have to leave it at this. | Username: TheLigerNinja OC name: Kurai Tenshei, meaning 'dark angel' Picture (optiona):  or If you can't see the picture Bio (info about character): Kurai never knew his parents and grew up an orphan. He grew up in the mountains, away from society and was only taught the basics of human life. Before he was born his mother was injected with avian (bird) DNA into her womb (took this part from Maximum Ride), resulting in him having wings. One day while the man who taught him was away (the man refused to speak his name) a hunter went to the mountains to see what he could catch that day. Reports of a huge bird had taken root in his mind, so he went with his pack of hunting dogs up the mountain. One of the dogs caught his scent and rushed forward into Kurai's hiding spot. Kurai responded too slowly and went blind in one eye, causing that eye to be a lighter blue than the other and making him gain a scar across his eye. The old man was returning and heard the commotion. The hunter spotted Kurai, but only saw his enormas black wings, with brown on the inside of them, glistening in the late sun. Pulling out an arrow, the hunter posed to shoot, and as the arrow flew... the old man fell to the mountain side, dead. Hearing the cries of his caretaker, Kurai was overtaken with greif and flew away quickly and refused to look back. In honor of the old, nameless man he pierced his right ear with a chain hanging down. On the tip of the chain is a rose, the old man's favorite symbol. Kurai decided to travel the world and hide his wings for fear of hunters and human judgement, remaining cold to most of the populace. Since that was more of a backstory than character personality here is his personality- Due to his lack of human contact he is serious and cold to most people. On rare occasions he might smile or even warm up to someone, but his fear of them finding out his secret stops him from getting too close. He has black hair (forgot to mention that) and a red diamond tatto on his forehead. He zones out a lot and tends not to be responsive unless he wants to be. He wears a red bandana around his neck, a black shirt with a black vest (it has a ton of pockets) that doesn't completely cover his shoulders. Also Kurai tends to be sarcastic, but tries not to be rude or start fights. He isn't outgoing, but he isn't shy. | Username: Sleevr OC name: Akihiro Takeuchi (meaning; large glory, within the bamboos) Picture (optional): Bio (info about character): Akihiro was born in a small mountain town and went to a normal school. He never had any friends since people were scared of him since he always looked emotionless from his eyes and always sat alone in the back of the classroom. No one ever talked to him so he didn't try to either. When his grandparents died in an accident his parents became alchoholics and drug addicts which made them abuse Akihiro. He is mentally and psychically scarred. They used knifes to cute him, lighter to burn him and locked him up and didn't feed him for days. One time his dad even chopped of his hand with a butcher knife which then caused Akihiro to walk to the hospital alone for 2 hours. As he walking he saw something shiny in his arm and it had the form of a blade point. When he got it stitched together, he decided to run away one night and never come back. He found a hut in a forest close to a city and worked somewhere in a grocery store. One night he felt a severe pain in his arms and suddenly 2 blades came from them. He now knew he had powers He heard about Shiroku Highschool from some costumer and saved up money to go here. | Username: -DanZo- Character Name: Kazan (volcano) Age: 18 Male/Female: Male Picture: Bio: Kazan was raised on the streets with no parents and no family this makes him a bit rough around the edges. He doesn't have any memory before the age of ten, he get's fragments come back to him in dreams involving a shadow, a lab and a sign: Human/Elements testing. Kazan has always been able to create fists of flame and he believes these broken memories hold the key to understanding his ability. He has travelled the world looking for the answer but has found nothing so far. Personaility: Because of his travels Kazan has developed an open mind to anything and is not easily scared/surprised, he used to have a short fuse and would be quick to anger (causing his fist to explode into flame) he has got better at controlling this and through trial and error he can control the flames. Kazan has red hair which makes him stand out as well as his abnormally hot body temperature (think human radiator). OC Name: Shinako (No last name, see below for why) Appearance: Shinako is 18, and has long, straight pale blonde hair that she usually wears pulled back in a messy bun, with long side bangs framing her face. She's of average height and weight, and has large hazel eyes. Bio: Shinako has suffered amnesia for three years, when she was 15 she was found unconscious in the woods, with no sign of any injuries, it's unknown why, or how she lost her memories. While many insignificant little things from her childhood and early teens she remembers, any important details, like her family, friends, or even last name, she has no recollection of. Shinako lives alone, and is usually rather quiet and detached from other people. She's a bit sensitive, and cries easily, though if you get to know her she's very kind and caring. Gender: Male Universe: N/A Genre Type: Fictional Power: Disappearance (Teleportation) Disappearance is the power to teleport from place to place. Yet it can only get to a position that is in a general vicinity of the current area. Meaning he can't teleport from one general location to a completely other area. Ethen can do this as many times as he wants although after two uses it starts creating a headache for Ethen. If he overused it will cause him a migraine and he would have to stop and cool down until it goes away. Otherwise the pain would be to much and would cause him to pass out. It's a great power that comes with a price. The recovery period is a little slow, so overuse wouldn't be wise at most times. Weapon: Dark Staff The Dark Staff or "The Staff of Death" is a Black Bo-Staff that has been given to Ethen as a small present. Although this staff can reappear and disappear whenever the owner decides to wield it. The Staff has a glowing aura around the two ends that hold the souls of the parents of Ethen. Allowing his Parents to fight with him, but not to the knowledge of Ethen. Due to this staff being made by Death himself it has been made unbreakable. Of course if anything was to happen to it as in breaking, Death would fix it himself. Beware, since whomever the wielder might be cannot get to angry. For it could instantly control it's owner the second the owner gets to angry. Biography: Ethen was always happy from playing with his friends and his parents. He would have the best times with his mom and dad. Although at a time, his mother and father had been given a very high paying job. Yet it required almost every minute of their time to due their job leaving Ethen alone almost all the time for a year. He also got sad making his friends not wanting to play with him from Ethen looking so depressed. Due to always being alone and no one ever noticing him, Ethen had basically disappeared off the face of the planet, but at one point his mom/dad had been murdered due to the fact of them being rich and high valued targets to those of other rich families. At this point Ethen felt that there was no one by his side, since other family members were either far away or deceased. Then Ethen decided to commit suicide and stop his loneliness by a knife. When he went to commit suicide, right before the knife had taken his life... someone or something had stopped him saying "I'm not ready to take you just yet." Then the shadow had snapped its fingers giving Ethen a huge headache until he passed out. After waking up Ethen believed it was all but a dream until he picked up a Black note with the writing "You still have a long life, so live it. - Grim" After he had read it he thought that the writer was the same person he met in his dream. Then realized that it wasn't a dream. Yet he then notices that the letter in his hand had disappeared as did the envelope. Then he heard a whisper saying "Enjoy your new powers." And then quickly looked around for whoever said that, but the house was completely deserted as it had been for years. A few days later Ethen had decided to go out for a stroll to get some fresh air. Although he had started to smell something like wood burning and finally saw some smoke peeking over the trees. He thought that maybe he could have gone over to see a bonfire, and make some friends randomly. Although it was no regular fire, but a house fire. There had been firefighters. Yet it looked like a lost cause to save it at that point. Then there was a child sitting in the back of an ambulance. Instead of receiving treatment it looked like the child was resisting, so Ethen approached the group of people. When he had gotten in hearing distance of the ambulance workers and the girl he heard the girl shout out "My mommy and daddy are in the house! My mommy and daddy are in the house!" Then the ambulance trying to calm her down by saying "Don't worry we are trying to save them right now." Although he couldn't hear the paramedic, since everything just stopped at the moment he heard what the girl had said. Then Ethen had sprinted towards the house and charged right for the door, but had been stopped by the structure collapsing on the doorway. Yet the left window had been clear and looks as if it had the least amount of fire compared to the other windows. While trying to open the window ended it a failed attempt due to it being locked from the inside. Ethen then closed his eyes and was thinking of how to open it since there were no rocks on the ground just dirt. With hands at his side he clenched his fist with frustration. Although Ethen had felt a metal object had suddenly just flew into his hand. Then he looked seeing a dark metal Bo-Staff in his hand with a dark aura on it. Yet he couldn't pay much attention to it since he had to save the girl's parents, so he busted the window and made his way to the faint screaming in the master bedroom. Which he found the parents in the closet and helped them up and out of the closet. Unfortunately that was as far as They made it since the fire had just taken all ways of getting out to a sharp close. Finally, Ethen had lost all hope and had clenched his eyes closed and so did the parents awaiting there death. Then silence. Ethen believing he was dead, he opened his eyes to see them outside facing the fire trucks. Although Ethen didn't know that he had just teleported them outside. While returning to the trucks Ethen had seen the girl dashing towards the parent ready with arms out. They all hugged and hugged Ethen for saving them. Offering money to Ethen, he denied due to all the inherited money from his parents that would last him 3 lifetimes and them requiring a new house. Although at this point Ethen had decide to go on with life since it is basically the only thing he has besides the money he has with him. Later on in his lonely life he had learned about his new powers and had learned how to master it and also learned about his "Dark Staff" that he had used during the fire. Personality: -Calm: He doesn't get hot tempered so easily unless someone refers to his parents the wrong way. Ethen also doesn't really get too excited, and when he tries to crack a smile it's basically hopeless to do so for all of his past. -Friendly: Ethen is not one to make a war nor join one. Although if he is pulled into a fight his main role is defense. Ethen will never go on the offense of a physical war unless it is necessary to due so. -Depressed (At points): As said before Ethen is not truly the happiest person due to his solitude from most people and from being invisible from most. Although he tries to smile it doesn't always show the way he wants it to. Making it look like he is not as happy as most would suspect an average person would be. -Private: Ethen is not really one to tell everyone about his life on the spot, since it's not a very spectacular one to begin with. He also has the urge to keep most things about his life to his own mind due to Ethen not wanting any sympathy for his past. -Individual: Although if someone is to approach Ethen he is not afraid to talk to them, but he doesn't charge towards being in a crowd. Rather he feels that it would be better to be with either a small group or just being alone. Appearance: |
