| Some of my favorites are: Aria series: loved the manga and the anime, recommended to watch 1 episode max per day Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou: manga only but have 2 OVA Haibane Renmei: probably my favorite anime of all time, rewatched this every year or so Mushishi: really relaxing, recommended to watch at slow pace Kino no Tabi: some episodes are rough but generally it's just pleasant to watch Spice and Wolf: some as above also some short like The Diary of Tortov Roddle and La Maison en Petits Cubes for more recent examples I enjoy Soranowoto: All Quiet on the Western Front with anime girls. what's not to like? Non Non Biyori: just relaxing watching some rural places Usagi Drop: relaxing anime with soft pastel color Gochiusa: similar to NNB except with different setting Tamayura (only watched the OVA so far, planning to watch the series soon) |

| My all time favourite is Natsume Yuujinchou. Here are some other favourites in no particular order: Aria Mushishi Barakamon Hyouka Another series that's not really tranquil but still makes the list is Seitokai Yakuindomo, it's always relaxing for some reason and helps me unwind. Acchi Kocchi is a kind of calm show, and very cutesy. Also adding a short which I liked more than expected: Wakako-zake. Pleasant and kind of calming. I have high hopes for Kino no Tabi and Usagi Drop, which i plan to watch soon. |
