I have practice three forms of martial arts for the past five years! ;)

Capoeira, Krav Maga and Savate. I pretty much balance out the three styles should I get involved in a fight. I learnt Krav Maga in Police Academy (yes, I'm working as a policeman)

I learnt Capoeira from a good friend of mine who hailed from the Carribean (Puerto Rico to be exact) and I learnt Savate from my girlfriend. But out of the two, I enjoy practicing Capoeira more.

So, anyone else here who practices martial arts? ;)

Krav Maga has always intrigued me.

If it counts, I'm starting kendo this week.

I used to do judo for around seven years straight. I should have done some more tournaments...

Does size really matter when it comes to fighting? Sure, a bigger and stronger person has the size and strength advantage but when a smaller person has the right fighting technique, he can be able to win a fight against a bigger/stronger person. I'm 176 cm and have a slim built and I have not fought someone who is bigger than me before. I usually get into fights with people who are around my size.

That may be true, but bigger and stronger does not always mean better. Someone who is big and strong has the power advantage but a smaller person has more speed and agility which could be used against a larger opponent. But the larger person is able to break the smaller person into two should he gets his hands on him. Size and strength does play in important role in a fight too but even then, its all about technique being used. I rarely get into fights since I would normally resolve confrontations in a civil manner, but when I'm physically provoked then I'll fight ;)

American Karate.

ive worked my way from a white belt to a blue belt.. all in the matter of about 5-6 months.

here is a little backround about myself too.. atleast a little bit.. if youd like to know more just message me...

Despite overcoming great hardship, challenges, difficulties, and knowing myself fully... this world still saddens me... and i suffer from an inferiority complex..it came from years of being made fun of, bullied, and generally being treated like garbage... i may have family and friends.. but i have yet to meet a girl that likes me for being me.. i know very well that i am not perfect..and i have endured alot of damage.. there are times when i question why i keep trying, working so hard, and putting forth all of this effort to succeed... but the answer is.. deep down.. i want to be happy and raise a family.. i just hope i get the chance to do that..
