| I'm curious about the direction that they will take, or if they will continue with it at all, as this project was announced prior to the release results of STXI. However, after watching the newest film, I think they might go through with it. My only concern is what happens with ST canon based on what happened in the film that was just released? Do they continue from the reality of the film, or make a different type of sequel? |
| I'd think they would continue with the same line of events. What's the point of a AU reboot if they're just gonna ignore it? |

| Yep, true enough. I think the way they set it up, with the Alternate Timeline, was quite clever. Means they can change things around without having the idiot fans saying "That's not how it happened!" |

| I would be one of those idiot fans. X) With an alternate universe though I don't care what they do, so yeah, good move. Although, like my sister said, it would have been nice to see an actual TOS beginning story. |

| Yeah, I was too, to be honest. ^^ When I saw the posters for it I immediately said "THAT'S NOT KIRK!" But then I watched it and was awed by how much they'd thought it through. ^^ |

| Klingons definitely changed somewhat in appearance since TOS, i wonder if Klingons in an Abrams type movie would look like those Klingons. i've always been curious about doing something with the earth-romulan war, but they'd need a different st generation for that. |
| That would be really cool. Seriously, someone should totally pick that up. They're all talking about no restraints, with the earth-romulan war you would only have one, that they come to an eventual truce, but the characters could be whatever you want, and you could place the story in any part of the war. |
