Guys help me out here and give me your opinion on this, ive been watching this anime since late 2008, about october-ish on crunchyroll, then they go captialist on my ass and delete all the previous vids, now im stuck on 110! and theres no subs to be seen!
fair to rumbel subs, they do a great job and im grateful for what they do. but without a good daily/weekly dose of gintama, life doesn't seem so great anymore~!!

now heres is my dilema....read the manga? is it as good without the VA's and sounds etc?
or jump ahead and watch 129+ on crunchyroll? i dont want to skip 19 episodes...theres usually a decent arc in there (or two), but from what experience has shown me, gintama aint such a linear storyline anyway, so i shudn't worry?

give me ur opinion internets!

I say do both. Even if you start at the Yoshiwara Arc and on from HorribleSubs you won't really be lost. The rest after that is just random and you'll get the episodes weekly from there like I'm doing now.

If you're just curious about the episodes you haven't seen you can just read those. You'll notice that once you read those and watch the episodes, the anime sometimes add extra random scenes for more funny so either way it's good.
