| Even if you're not interested in Redline, you should still give it a try. If only for the fact that every single cell is hand drawn. It's a pretty amazing feat when you think about it. And it's not really about the racing. Even though the race is what everyone is concentrated on, it's more or less window dressing. The movie is really about friendship, anime, and love. Gratuitous love. It's the perfect movie to watch with your friends. Heck, it's how I turned mine onto anime in the first place. Please, Please, give it a chance! |

| @lovelydeath I've seen Howl and Chihiro. I'm saving Mononoke for later on and Milennium Actress didn't seem very interesting to me. @NickyCharisma The friends I'm planning on watching with are more family friends rather than guys my age but since I was making a thread anyways I thought I might as well look for movies for myself. I'll save Redline for when my actual friends feel like trying anime lol Thanks for convincing me! |
| @Anicrad Okay, that makes sense. I'm sorry if I came across as a little... zealous. I just really, really love Redline. If you're with family friends then I would second the recommendation for Paprika. Just tell them that it's Inception meets the drug sequences from The Big Lebowski. |
