| I've seen all of Key's works and none are like Clannad,especially After Story. I've seen Itazura na Kiss which to date is the closes 1 but not quite as good.I've seen Ef,Aishiteruze Baby,Anohana and just about everything people say that is like it but they are not. I need 1 that is very close to watch Clannad/After Story did. |

| The only thing I can think of that might be worth trying (although doubt it will be too similar if the other Key anime weren't) is Lamune ... I am not too sure what else to say, though I am curious what exactly you are looking for in the anime, did you want an anime that goes from the beginning of the relationship through marriage? Cause that is the only similarity between Clannad and Itazura na Kiss that I can think of... I would say though that Clannad's tone was somewhat unique of Key anime and it's plot (the whole romance going that far) is also just a unique plot in terms of anime (a few more manga have it but not too many manga either), so not sure you will find one just like Clannad. |

| I don't see the relation between Death Notes and Clannad being that "big". OP, frankly I don't understand what particularly of Clannad you want an anime to have. If you want "drama", then most of the one you watched are similar to it. However, if you are looking for something different that is particular to Clannad only, you should explain it better. |

The first half (SAO arc) could've really kicked some people in the balls if they decided to end it right there. The ALF arc really kicked the show into subtier status though =/ I mean, the impact of dying in a game. That feeling really kicked the emotions and characterization in the first half. After they took that out in the next arc, it all felt "meh." |

Really? I like me some Clannad, but there really isnt much Romance in Clannad. Everything in Clannad is incredibly forced, and the "romance" period only lasts about 8 episodes. Then its back to blatantly obvious attempts to make you cry using fan memorial service. At least in ToraDora the characters feel like actual people, and not just tools to cause cheap feels with the audience. |

Toradora was forced, how did they decided to get married before they went on a date,they didnt even officially started going out when they decided to get married, wtf is that? Mirai Nikki's good but very disturbing and...it's not like Clannad/InK at all. Bakemonogatari is different too. And...SAO...just no. Sorry, call me a hater but I just don't recommend it because it's a waste of time. The first arc could have done better but it's nowhere near good to me. |
