Anime like Eureka Seven?

Hello I'm new to Anime and this site. (BTW this site is awesome).

The first anime I've ever seen was Eureka Seven. I fell in love with the series and I want to watch more series.

So far I've seen Eureka Seven, Eureka Seven AO, and Neon Genesis Evangelion.

My friend who has been into anime a lot longer recommended Neon Genesis and Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann.

I'm going to start watching TTGL soon.

Is there any anime that would be similar to Eureka Seven?

Also was there ever an english Dub of TTGL?

Secondly, yes, there is a Funimation dub.

Closest I've ever found was Bounen no Xamdou imo. But the ending is questionable, be warned.
