Both the second season and the movie deviate from the manga, so it's probably best to read it staring from where the first season ended or when Ikaros fought Chaos for the first time.

There are a lot of divergences in the anime adaptation, ESPECIALLY the ending of season 2 and the Hiyori arc (aka the movie).

The anime's biggest failure was probably in the movie. Instead choosing to adapt it properly and including some important bits and pieces, they made half of the movie a recap of the series, including parts where Hiyori was watching Tomoki, which never happened in the manga.

If you want to read the series, read it from the beginning. A lot of stuff not being adapted and a lot of anime original content.

Considering the events that have taken in the anime, I can't imagine the course season three will take.

I'm also filled with pure-hearted ulterior motives.

I thought Girls Bravo was the most likable/charming one I've seen. Particularly the banana scene.
