| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- Chapter 7 of “Capriccio” starts with Akira still daydreaming the next day about being with Kitajima at the concert the night before, although he is also still kicking himself because he was too nervous to really talk with her. Demelta bugs Akira that Kitajima already has a good looking guy that she likes, so why is Akira bothering. This continues to bother Akira at school, but Yuusuke decides to get involved and help again, and thus invites Kitajima to come to karaoke after school. To Akira's surprise, she agrees. Of course, Demelta “joins” them despite having no idea of what is going on. Yuusuke starts out by dragging Akira into a duo with him. Kitajima thinks that it is funny, but Demelta thinks that they are terrible. Demelta also starts to get some ominous premonitions and becomes quite edgy. Right after this Yuusuke drags Demelta off to “get some snacks”, thus leaving Akira and Kitajima alone in the karaoke room. Akira is terminally nervous again and has no idea what to say. So he eventually blurts out the question, “Do you have someone that you like?” Kitajima is uncomfortable with that question but implies that the answer is no. Not knowing what to say next Akira stumbles out that he would like to “help” her. Yuusuke and Demelta are listening from outside the door. Demelta gets the gist of what is going on and gets mad, so she bursts into the room and yells at Akira for not having sex with Kitajima right then and there. Akira drags Demelta out into the hallway and starts to yell at her for ruining the moment. But Demelta yells back and starts to bring up the issue of her world and her mission on earth again. Akira can't understand what that has to do with the current situation and why Demelta brought that topic up right now. Demelta then tells him that she thinks that he won't have sex with her until he has had sex with with Kitajima, so she wants him to have sex with Kitajima as soon as possible so that he can then start having sex with her and start to reproduce her kind for their upcoming fight with their enemies. Akira tells Demelta that humans don't do things that way. Demelta gets more upset and tells him about her ominous premonitions that the enemy will be coming soon, and that her premonitions are never wrong. So maybe we will finally see the incoming “enemy” next chapter. I'm betting that the enemy is as much of a goof as Demelta. |
