| Well, thank you Licca for subbing episode 2. I had nearly forgotten the series. Very nice gem. Glad Lucy found a docile koala. Those things can get super nasty (claw your eyes out and bite off your nose) when they want too. But most of the time they're higher than a kite from eating eucalyptus leaves. I must say....damn....those were some...odd....representations of Aborigines. Didn't know they were plum and purple coloured people lol. Anybody remember what year the story takes place in? Because I wonder if the anime will cover the exclusion and land loss of the Aborigines by the British. (Dunno if this is also before or after all the Aborigines that died from New World diseases) It was very much like the Native American exclusion+land loss by the British/neo-americans but three times as worse. Tragic. They didn't even get compensation till the late 90's. |
