Neon Genesis evangelion
Chobits
FLCL
Hikaru No Go
Kure-nai

i'll try out manabi straight!.
it shows in the database that the anime for gokusen ended before the manga finished publishing, incomplete?
i tried ouran host club and it was pretty good but its the same problem with gokusen.

The majority of these are either shoujo, are still ongoing, the anime finished before the manga or i've seen them before. But i will try H20: Footprints in the Sand thanx

tried it and didnt like it. seemed a bit too silly and unreal for me. in this one instance i was upset that they actually thought they could bore that girl to sleep so quickly so they can be all touchy on her. what an insult to my intelligence! thanx for the suggestion though.

Not all rom/com but they involve school of some sort to some degree.

Oh, don't dismiss all shoujo out of hand. Some of it is pretty good. Same goes for Shounen. They are not genres. They are demographics, i.e. age/gender groups. Shoujo = young girl. Shounen = young boy. The same way Josie = young women and Seinen = young men.

For what it is worth, most school/rom/com IS shoujo.

does she play a tsundere in this anime though? i'll check it out anyways. As for seto no hanayome it doesnt seem to have finished adapting all of its source material yet. and as for zero no tsukaima (i might like it, as i did like shana) the light novel hasnt finished publishing. I really dont like watching unfinished anime because it leaves me at a cliff hanger and i h8 w8ing years for the end.

yea kei is a tsundere,

seto has been done for years - great comedy, very unique, but again, not everyones cup of tea. ZnT may not be done, but watching up thru the end of 2nd season is not a terrible idea...the ending was quite epic to say the least

TBH tho, ur like me, in that we are running outta solid romcom's or decent school-oriented series's to watch. we've pretty much seen most of the best ones... :/ so its harder to be picky at this point, unless u start picking up ...mech or something

yes i understand the demographic and that is why its not for me. I'm dismissing shoujo out of my long term experiences, out of my more than 6 years of watching anime seriously, I've almost 100% of the time never liked anime i tried tagged with the shojo genre. as I've stated before this type of material is too lovey dovey (clingy) and most importantly exaggerated for my tastes. if you really want to get into this we can continue on my profile page and i can go more in depth. But don't get me wrong, i don't dislike all of it as there are always some that appeal to me, as is the case with bokura ga ita and ouran host club. as for your recommendations seems you didn't bother checking out the ones I've watched already from the list i provided but no worries I'll look into this list u gave me. thanx for the feedback.
