A new great way to draw attention to a site is to make an app for the site.
Most people alredy have an iphone or an android phone nowdays and I dont know how many times I searched applestore for "anime" and downloaded all material (just to be disepointed).
The point is anyone who likes anime and have a smartphone will likely get the app, as long it's free, and the liklyness they like it is quite high. I mean come on, this is an amazing site after all!

You will probebly get more active members aswell.
If you own an iphone you know what im talking about. Once the icon is on your homescreen you will be constantly reminded to check it out regulary.

However if you decide to make an app please hire proffesionalls to do it for you! There is nothing so disepointing as to download something and see it turn out to be crap! And make it free if the intention is to draw new and more members to the site.

And ye, make it in ipad ress from the beginnning to avoid hard mentainance.

Sorry for bad spelling :-)

There's already an iPhone application called Pocket MAL, it allows you to show both of your Anime & Manga lists and modify their entries, it's only problem that it wasn't modified for the iPad.

It’s time to ditch the text file.
Keep track of your anime easily by creating your own list.
