| THE CONTENDERS OF ROUND ONE MATCH FOUR: Ashiya, Mizuki (Hana-Kimi) http://myanimelist.net/character.php?id=5168  Mizuki Ashiya, who is Japanese, but moved to Amercia when she was young, is the heroine of the story. She spontaneously moved from California to Japan and enrolled into an all boys school (Osaka Gakuen) because her idol, Sano Izumi, who’s a top high jumper and the same age as her, attends the school. To look like a boy, she keeps her hair short and ruffled and wears a tight demin vest to hide her boobs. In many ways, it’s good that she has a pretty flat chest, but she wants more cleavage. She’s a very fast runner (due to her mother’s athleticism), but is very clumsy at times (due to her father’s clumsiness). Mizuki loves all kinds of food, especially sweet things, which is a strong contrast to Izumi's dislike of them. Also, she can be quite stingy when it comes to sharing her food. She’s also a lover of animals, as we can see when she’s with Yujirou, Sano’s dog. Ayasaki, Hayate (Hayate The Combat Butler) http://myanimelist.net/character.php?id=2563  Hayate has had to work to support his parent's bad habits since the age of eight, always moving from job to job, as he is fired when he is discovered to be underage. Hayate's dad is unemployed and his mother is a compulsive gambler, which leads inevitably to their bankruptcy. Characters in the series continually remark that Hayate looks poor and seedy. He believes that everyone hates him except children, though he doesn't think of children as being anything other than friends. Hayate sees Nagi as a child, but has a crush on the more mature Maria. He can also play the violin. Despite his terrible luck, Hayate lives up to the title of "combat butler" as he is proficient in repelling attacks from almost anything, including other butlers. Erde, Tieria (Mobile Suit Gundam 00) http://myanimelist.net/character.php?id=4237  Tieria seems rather stoic and distant, although also proud and arrogant. Constantly believing he has the best interests of Celestial Being in mind, he rarely acts out of impulse, and has little patience for the impertinent. To this end, he often clashes verbally with the other Gundam Meisters, as well as his "superior", Sumeragi Li Noriega, on topics ranging from insubordination to ideology. Tieria is often noted for being on an extremely high horse, looking down upon others. Tieria also shows an unnatural loyalty to Veda, the supercomputer of Celestial Being, which Tieria can directly interface with. This link between Tieria and Veda can explain Tieria's holier-than-thou attitude, and his belief that he is a judge of the members of Celestial Being.
