Reason:I think he is the definition of badass and the best thing that happened to the series. He definitely influenced many characters. He is so cool and I love his dismissive attitude, his insults and his sense of pride.

Anime: The legend of legendary heros
Reason: Ryner is incredibly intelligent although having the apperence of a slacker. He possess the Alpha Stigma an optical power that allows him to "analyze and comprehend all magic." Upon initial activation usually due to the death of a friend or family member, the bearer will go into a rampage seeking destruction and death to those around the user no matter who they are. Ryner is the only known bearer to retain his sanity after going berserk. He is naturally talented in magic, hand to hand combat, and assassination. *Spoiler* after losing his Alpha Stigma, he fully awakens as the "solver of all formulas" which not only lets him analyze magic but also human beings and other physical materials. And is commonly referred to as "the deadliest magician"
This club seems to be a bit dead with the replies but I'd figure I will post anyway because I think this character deserves a mention as a True Badass.
Name: Chrollo Lucilfer
Anime: Hunter X Hunter
Reason: Leads a group full of arguably some badass characters in the phantom troupe. He fights both Zeno and Silva Zoldyck at the same time and survives it by being a badass. (Of course there are other reasons found in the anime mainly in the Yorknew City arc)
