Not really a BIG fan of Demon Slayer (Rated the last entry 4/10), but took my brother to go see this in theaters and it was amazing.

Took me back to when I saw Mughen Train years ago with work friends, and how the Entertainment District Arc ended.

This show knows how to knock it out the park when it needs to, Now im dead set on watching the next 2 movies and finishing the series with an overall positive outlook.

Nice work to the parties involved.

I also personally haven’t ever considered myself a fan of Demon Slayer, but this movie, especially in IMAX, was a truly impressive experience.

Generic doesn’t mean it’s bad by default. Simple doesn’t mean it’s bad by default. That sentiment is so forced specifically on demon slayer because of its popularity. It achieved something that not one anime achieved. Yes I will say it. It made the box office numbers shatter worldwide for animes. It made manga sales comparable to the BIG THREE. I even would say it is the rightful grandson of the big three and dragon ball with the amount of records and achievements it did in a short time span. It fought against AOT and survived, not just survived but was toe to toe with it back in 2022. Like give respect to this anime… Stop with these weird posts.

@Confused_100 I didn't say anything bad about Demon Slayer why're you targeting me lol, all I said to the other guy is that just cuz something has happy vibes doesn't automatically mean it's good, I'm not talking about Demon Slayer specifically

they aren't really wrong tbh last two arcs were honestly mid. Also OP praised this movie so I don't know why you are so much salty.

We were being positive dude.

Not everyone is going to think Demon Slayer as an IP is Perfect (Especially us older folk becuase weve seen this plot a thousand times already)

But its set up in a way were it can end reallly strong and have a great ending, dont be the type of person that drives people away from the shows you like.
