Manhuas are allowed in the database on the condition that they are physically printed in China (You can find rules there : https://myanimelist.net/forum/?topicid=515955). That's why there is so little of them there, and why the ones you are talking about are not. Aside of that, as deg pointed out above, there is a huge backlog of entries that have been waiting for years, so even if it's eligible, it may not be added yet, if a user submitted it to begin with.

Also, it's not because a work has an animated adaptation that its source is automatically added to the database. The only case where it's done is for normal Novel, if i remember correctly.

@Alexioos95 thanks for the response I tried to find a way to access the ones that are being reviewed but I haven't really found it there, I don't have a problem with the database not being perfect nor am I calling the moderators lazy for not including it I just wish there was a way to add ones more easily or atleast make our personal additons to our lists as a private addition, I find it wierd that some manhua isn't allowed because it has no prints if it is popular and being read but thanks for the explanation this is really my first forage into a forum complain so I am really happy I havent been shouted off the website.

Well, popularity is not a good criteria when talking about a site whose purpose is to be a database; there is a need for clear rules, limiting what can, or not, be registered in it.

MAL went for works from Japan, Korea and China, that have a professionnal editorial management behind it (thus the print requirement, and no self-published WebComics/Novels). It's very outdated with nowadays' industry, tho, where web publishment is very popular. MAL did loosen its guidelines, and now accept works published in web magazines owned by a reputable print company (like Shonen Jump +), and with the extraordinary growth of Manhwas, also allowed the most popular platforms (like Naver). Unfortunately, there is only very few of these whitelisted, and none contain Manhuas, and looking at how the mods are struggling with the huge backlog, and the tremendous amount of Manhwas that can still be added, i don't think they'll look into it more anytime soon.

If you want to keep track of your Manhuas, you can use your About Me or your Blogs section for that, or use another site.

@Alexioos95 yeah thanks for the discussion its a problem with the understaffed nature of MAL hopefully it will be fixed sooner rather than later but as it stands there will be not much coming for this discussion (they break the rules sometimes for example a self published English manga called Spring comes to aoi) is on the database which blurs the lines of what is allowed and not)

You mean that one-shot : https://myanimelist.net/manga/180391/Aoi_no_Heya_ni_Mata_Haru_ga_Kita ? If so, that's not self-published, it was uploaded on Shonen Jump +, under the management of Shueisha (https://shonenjumpplus.com/episode/17106567264478576004), and nothing indicates the author is not Japanese.
