I really liked her at the beginning of the story, but for those who are up to date with the last chapters, you know that she didn't participate in almost any arc compared to the other characters, only at the beginning, Lu didn't get stronger or have any prominence and it doesn't seem like that will change, why do you think the author did this?

Either forgot or didn't care. Anyway, Lu was replaced by Akira, but not in spirit. Lu definitely did get stronger

Shounen female character curse. Akira also seemed like she would be important and also fell off a cliff. Disappointing but not surprising.

There's a manhwa that I read called Killer Peter, really similar vibe and the girl in that story isn't used anymore. I like when they're at least aware that it wouldn't make sense for them to be on these later dangerous missions.

Sho got left behind as sakamoto days went from a gag manga to a more shounen feel. Same goes for the wife and female cop

Author just can't write good female characters. Even in the current chapters (226 onwards) she feels sidelined from her own moment to shine.

@BiobulletM I agree with you because Luu practically hasn't evolved at all and currently she is the same way she was in the first chapters, but the author simply decided that now she will really fight.

@ReMightyRon nah. it actually makes more sense for her to be the same as she was, because why wouldn't she be? she took up a peaceful life at the store. it would be terrible writing if she suddenly got a power boost for no reason, this is consistent with how she is. author decided she will fight, because the whole point of this arc has been for the people around sakamoto to repay him for the times he helped them, so it wouldn't make sense for her to not contribute when it was obvious she would.
