| my expectations was probably too high to expect this episode too be as the same level of Ep 7. I enjoyed the episode, the fight was good and even if I didn't see yet an announcement for the S2, I hope that they will follow the step of Rakshasa Street to improve. E12:8/10 Anime: 7/10 |

| It was alright compared to what I expected. If I could use any term for how I feel about this anime it would be "catfished". At least the season finale was good. Expectation - 8.6/10 Reality - 7.6/10 |

| @Chalc_ hahahaha catfished this is the word of the day for an anime nice one at least, you are not too severe because people think that every anime give a top tier animation, sometimes you have to accept that they are limited but try they best to give us something more than descent... of course, the potential was huge but even the first trailer, it was visible that it was not going to be a solo leveling and I'm ok with that |

| I could cope and call this donghua a milestone for its animation studi, which it trully is, but it still has a long way to go into making their shows have consistent quality, I like seeing them evolve from production to production. The donghua itself started generic but kinda interesting and then it went into grind sidequest and introduced fantasy elements out of the blue, and now for some reason the damn school gang has contacts with a secret mafia/gang boss that is also involved in the super human secret world?. The biggest flaw of the story of this show was that it felt like an mmo, you get a very clear story premise at the begining then you do random sidequests to get enough level to progress with the story but oh oh, you are not strong enough to beat or reach the main legendary guy yet, so you gotta do more sidequests to get enough exp to reach the next story quest. The worst part is that it reminds me of AQW (great game honestly) in the levels of random bullshit between areas he goes. Seriously, you can't start a series with a setting kinda like the movie Jumper/DICE Webtoon to then a couple of episodes later after intruducing your supernatural element just show a big ass white snake in a random cave, i thought the setting was grounded in reality with supernatural elements, i do expect some kind of agency to exist, but the way that world buidling is introduced is kinda bullshit. Anyways, regardless of anything, it was a fun watch, the fight in episode 12 had some good moments that reminded me of the stuff seen in the first episode and if it gets a season 2 i will most likely watch it xd. Just because of the fights across the series up to ep 7 I'm giving it this score, damn ep 7's fight was GOATED. I love wide shot fights with no unnecesary cuts, i don't care for what the japanese industry animators say about the fight not having close ups to show the actions going on more clear, i grew up on stick man hype fights, and Nian41 the main animator of that episode probably did with something similar and you can see it all over his previous indie animations, its just fun to watch. 7/10 |
| Overall this was a decent donghua. I applaud them for some of the fight scenes, the sakuga was strong. |

| Episode 7's action was by far the best of everything. Every other fight scene was still pretty enjoyable or decent enough but none even close to 7s aside from maybe some of the 1st episode. Overall show's visuals was incredibly inconsistent and the story was completely nonsensical. |

| Ah so the event earlier with the biotech lab was just a banquet, not an auction or anything. My bad. Anyway, that's 12 episodes done, and it went by quickly. Really glad that it ended in a satisfactory manner and not in an abrupt one. The season concludes at the end of an arc while introducing a new one, which is how it should be done. Was really worried it would end mid-fight with that 600-power-level guy, but fortunately it doesn't. Idk if he'll be still be doing missions for the superhuman control ceo lady, because he's really only working with/for her to get info on Mr. Luo, and he only wants him for revenge, right? It's not like he is the one who has Shen Yao. The one who has her is Xigu Qin, and the one who has a bit of information that could lead to him is Mumu. And now in return for that, Wang will join her... sports team?? Whatever it is, this is a much better focus for the story because Xigu Lin should be the target, not Lao. Not that the story is overly important, but little things still matter. I liked it. Maybe a bit messy, but it doesn't really matter, it got cool fights. Let's give it the exact score as the MAL overall score of a 7.2. A low 7, but still a 7. Am satisfied, but still really hope that a season 2 will come eventually. |
