Oh my god, this chapter was hilariously psychotic, I swear. I mean, I'm glad that everything went picture-perfect and as smoothly as possible, exactly according to both the director’s and Gongja’s plan. But dang, they are both fully immersed in their roles! The director has literally become the class president, while Gongja has literally become Eunseo.

The reason I say this is because, aside from the class president easily seeing that Eunseo isn’t even remotely sorry, he actually cares even less than how sorry Eunseo pretends to be, haha. All he cares about is getting thanked in front of the whole school mid-act so that his popularity skyrockets. Bro doesn’t care one bit about bullies, mistreatment, or any of that stuff, haha.

And then there’s the way he just went out and exposed Eunseo’s ex for being a bullying collaborator, completely destroying any chance she had at becoming the student council president. That was both savage and ruthless at the same time, oh my god, haha.

Honestly, that was the most satisfying part of the whole chapter, especially considering the fact that she broke up with Eunseo over a text. That’s the worst way to break up with someone, doubly so when you didn’t even bother to hear his side of the story. So yeah, I’d say it was totally deserved. Serves you right, you unfaithful, bullying tart!

@Skuvan But class pres pretends that he doesn't care about bullying in order to win over bully's trust. The plan was to make the bully think: "Wow, this class rep is a psychopath. He's just like me fr, I can rely on his brutal honesty". The webtoon cut it, but in the novel the bully actually thought he found a new friend he can be on the same wavelength with.
Imagine normies saying: "Peaky Blinders is mid and overhyped. Just another typical crime drama show. Breaking Bad is much better lol.".

@Ki11grave Oh my god, that's such a cool detail! Why would they cut that? It makes so much sense and connects a lot of dots together. The director in Gongja's backstory didn't actually seem like a psychopath, so it was weird to see him act like this.

But now that you've explained it, I think I get why he's acting this way. I didn’t think he’d be that smart, though, honestly, wow. I'm happy to know that there are readers for this novel, because it's very underrated, even as a webtoon. So to know that it has real fans reading the novel too is pretty great!
