I find the princess extremely creepy. There is something off putting about her and I can't explain what. Does anyone else get this feeling? Everytime I see her i feel the need to just stop watching. This has never happened to me before and I have watched a lot of anime.

I don’t really understand, but I guess her hair and smile can be a little weird but not nearly enough to stop watching
I want to say that the princess falls into the category of being a yandere, but I'm not really sure. I don't think she's so creepy that it's unwatchable.

@Moppit i have that feeling aswell but she doesn't portray those personality traits. Maybe that's why I find it off putting 🤔.

It is basically down to two things.
1. Her eyes are very circular... they aren't drawn in a Tareme, Tsurime or any other type you normally would see in contemporary anime. (For reference example, Yurisha sorta has Tsurime eyes).
I don't know why they do this, but except for Yurisha, Lady Ophelia and male characters aside from Kurt (and on the rare occasion, Mimiko), everyone has mostly circular eyes.
What makes this more apparent is when you notice the iris and pupils do not react like you would expect them to do. With very few exceptions, every character has eyes that seem to remain static.
2. The biggest problem is: They. Do. Not. Blink.
Watch any episode so far and you will never see any character blink naturally: during conversations they just stare. The only time they appear to blink is when the character is doing an action like moving...but when they are talking they just stare.

Potentially, but I get the impression this is just low animation budget shenanigans.
The most recent episode (Episode 5) makes it abundantly clear. Watch it from about 13:40 and look at the guards standing behind the main characters, they collectively look like a single cardboard cutout.
