Some questions about both seasons

I've started watching but already didn't like the first episode. Thus, questions:

1. Does the MC become less annoying? Or will he always be this immature?

2. Does this have any love polygons regarding the MC?

3. In your opinion, is it even worth watching for the romance concerning the MC? I've started the show mainly cause it had the tag.

4. If the 3rd is a "No", is the manga any better romance-wise?

I'm sorry to disappoint but this isn't really a romance anime. the MC is supposed to be 13 so ofc he's immature. but he experiences his first crush and later a second lady joins the cast as well. romance wise it's really tame, but the comedy, mystery, visuals and soundtrack are thoroughly enjoyable imo.

Agreed with previous comment. The comedy, the soundtrack, the visuals and the plot is the reasons to watch the show.

The romance is kinda eh, you're there for silly shenanigans of the wonderful cast instead.

Dude is 13 years old, there's a flash forward in the end where he's like 15 but that's it. In fact it's the most realistic 13 years old I've seen, finally someone acting his age lol.

Not for the romance, in fact I think this shouldn't have a romance tag since there's barely any development. I want to read the manga but I am not sure where does the anime end and AFAIK it's not translated completely.
