I just recently watched the show and personally I didn't like it.

But if you plan to watch it anyway, Market comes first, then Love Story afterwards.

It’s a complete story following a linear timeline. Watching the movie first would be like watching the last season of attack on titan then starting season 1.

I made a mistake by watching movie first coz I had no idea few years back that this series existed. due to which there were many small things that I didn't understood

You can watch the movie first but it will not be much enjoyable as you would not understand character relationships. I would recommend to watch the series first. Tamako Market is a good slice of life show.

personally I like the series more than the movie

if you plan to watch both anyways, you should watch tamako market first.
But you can watch the movie by itself without knowing much of the show first iirc

I watched Tamako Love Story first, then Tamako Market, and I didn't feel like I missed anything important. Plus, Tamako Market is boring anyway, so you can skip it if you want.

Doesn't really matter. But it's better if you watch the series first. series is Comedy/SOL and movie is pure romance
