The cool thing is that about half (~45 min.) of the entire movie is anime original.
The "movie promotion" sequence (~15 min.) is non-existent in the manga, meanwhile the "movie edit" sequence (~30 min.) last only two manga panels.

well I thought it was amazing and a unexpected beautiful intoxicating experience. it's a literal love letter to all movie enjoyers and a rare look in anime form n2 film making/aspiring directors lives and how that generally plays out....

I saw it without any expectations, but it was more interesting than I expected and I wished I had seen it in a movie theater!

I don't dislike remakes or sequels, but I hope they continue to make films like this.
