It seems the response in this forum has been pretty lukewarm. However I really enjoy it and would want a continuation. No, it's not exactly the most groundbreaking anime of the century, but I think the characters are quite endearing.

I don't know the exact number of episodes of the show, either.

I have enjoyed this anime too and hope for a second season.

Most just look at surface level similarities and say it is just a ripoff, copy, or “general anime”.

That’s ignoring the differences that make each anime unique in their own way.

Note: I don’t lazily watch 3-5 episodes, biasedly compare to other anime, or unfairly judge by surface level similarities. With every anime I start, I watch the entire series, both Japanese Sub & English Dub, then judge each anime based on what they present, to give an honest and fair rating.

yeah cuz the anime was decent nor good nor bad...there are more anime like this too tho like sao...but I don't think they will be a sequel anytime soon tho...if there will be then prolly after 2-3 years ig (i might be wrong)

The animation got worse because of that many people dropped and it's score dropped
storyline isn't even that intresting

Overall There are low chances of getting an S2

The overall story is great and so much enjoyable also the romance between Schnee and Shin is really wholesome and heartwarming. The OP and ED is so good too. The only thing that needs to improve is their budget (*⁰▿⁰*) because one or two episodes of this season has some not so greatly animated frames. I will be really glad if they continue The New Gate and I am really looking forward to it.

there's a 99% chance that it doesn't. Anime's only purpose is to promote source material and try to make money, if that doesn't happen then the series gets dropped and they move on. it would be best to just read the source material if you're interested in it.

honestly this is my favorite anime of the season I've just enjoyed it a lot granted it another generic isekai but it was a nice change of pace from the constant reincarnation isekai animes we've had

@Xero_Tsukiyomi5 To be fair this is basically a solo player "Log Horizon" but yeah, I really enjoyed it. Makes me sad knowing it likely won't get a continuation, but we can hope.

i wish man, i loved it, ofc its not mind blowing anime but i liked it very much and i hope it would get another season.

but as other have said im pretty sure it wont because usually animes like this arnt getting another season sadly
