So, this is an adaption of the Gameboy Color games Devil Children: Light and Dark, and so far it has really reminded me of Digimon. There is only fan subs for the first episode so far as I can find, but the story concept is fun. Instead of the world being destroyed and hell on earth like the normal SMT games, or the Jungian writings of Persona, it's... This. Two boys and a girl find an occultist book and they are told they are the chosen ones by a purple haired girl. The place once had demons and humans live in harmony but that stopped and now people are fighting, such as gargoyles... Who kidnap the girl. The girl has a computer and it gets transformed and you can see trading cards from a TCG they tried? The boys get "Devilizers", guns that let them do some things with demons, like scatter the remnants of their bodies when defeated or summon the partners they have.
