I just finished "Part 1" and it ended on a cliffhanger (somewhat). I thought that Part 1 was great and was wondering if reading "Second Contact" would ruin my previous experience from "Part 1" after I saw the rating for the sequel which was lower than the prequel. So should I read the next part or call it quits as in my opinion "Part 1" had a good conclusion.

No it will Not imo. Altough the second Part hast a slightly different vibe to it's probably even funnier.

The ratings are probably low due to it having a lot less members compared to the Part 1

nah second contact while very different compaired to the first one it is still a great sequel ti the story and i would recommend it
