Really curious about this one because Van's personality comes a whole lot different than Ruti but in general for a person as a whole with all his personality and beliefs and all that malarkey, what say you on whether you like him or not?

From what I've seen so far halfway through this season, I know I honestly hate him, bratty personality and insanely screwed up in the head perceptions in beliefs that he's even more delusional than villians in other shows!
In a way, he makes Ares look like a saint ahahah

If there is another opinion about Van tho, I'm very curious to know as well

He’s designed to be a scumbag, of course nobody likes him! But the standard anime plot line usually allows for redemption of these kinds of characters, so who knows how he’ll turn out?

@BonBonToro In the anime, I don't like him. In the LN, where maybe he's okay character? I haven't seen the recent episode yet, so I don't know how far they got with building his character. If you want to know.

I don't think that excuse his behavior after that.

No, he is tiresome to listen to, a shame he has a lot of dialogue lol. I know what they're going for, but my enjoyment has taken a nosedive in this season, due to this little arc.

@MoxxoM If only he got the Ares treatment, damn shame that fairy is there too to be a little piece of useless shit for brains
Legit the only reason I hate this season is those two fuckers as well as that weird guy who is clearly scheming something, other than that if they weren't in the story at all this show woulda been palatable

I like his as a character, what I mean by that is I can't wait to see he learn the hard way about his behaviour and believe, aka get his ass beaten by ruti or maybe high ranking demon, in last episode we see red saying that while his hero blessing leveling up and make him strong, his swordsmanship and maybe experience in general is lacking, yes even red the guide can hold him off until ruti arrive and punch him in the face

He is annoying and only redemption to anime will be seeing him getting killed. So I hope that happens before the season is over. There is no salvation for him only death in my opinion.

Bad guys and villains are fine. But this guy is just an annoying one. Send him and his fairy to death.
