nice read, but…

this was a nice read. it has an interesting concept that invites the reader to think about it more after you finished reading. the art complements the story and captures its atmospheric and melancholic vibe.

one thing didnt make sense to me though. maybe there isnt even a definitive answer to it but i thought someone here mightve picked something up in the dialog that i missed. speculations are welcome too.

If I remember correctly, in the sequel manga "Sasurai Emanon", it is shown how Emanon's mother lost her memories and was left as an empty shell.

oh ok i guess i will have to check the sequel out.
seems like she turned out to be able to live a normal life again as we saw in that scene at the station
