| Drought full that they will go to the end of the manga, like then WIT also have to ditch any other series offer and go on with One Piece only, not that they should complain with funds when Netflix is on Production, but still WIT is not a very big studio like MAD house, that's why they handed over AOT and Vinland Saga also. |
| It's kinda weird to think about the more recent One Piece anime arcs getting reanimated. The current arcs have pretty good animation from the clips I've seen, like that Gear 5 scene. Imagine working on a series you know is going to be redone soon lol. It'll be a while for the new series to get up to that point if it gets that far but it's still a strange situation. And I wonder how fast the new series will be at adapting things. If it's seasonal I feel like it'd take an insanely long time to make around 500 episodes right? Hunter x Hunter took around three years to adapt only 148 episodes and that wasn't even seasonal. MHA is seasonal and it's taken 7 years to adapt a bit over 100 episodes. Is it going to take The One Piece like 30+ years for a full adaptation?? |
| Even though the pacing in the current anime is really bad, possibly even worse than naruto/bleach as it no longer has actual fillers but it rather ridiculously overextends regular chapters, its still better than seasonals which take years to come out and most forget about them Moreover it is pretty clear that the animators of the regular One Piece are not happy with the remake  |
