Is it just me or does this anime have the best music, like it just gets me so hyped for battles and when it's an emotional scene the music almost makes me cry like it's all just perfect

yeeeeeeeees fairy tail has some of the best music in anime, those ost hit different.Emotional and hype.Also it has som many banger op and ed.No matter how much fairy tail is hated on you can't deny its music is good

definitely.....fairy tail has the best osts and openings ever.....it's only rivalled by maybe attack on Titan, one piece or bleach

I think plenty of shows have great scores to match or even beat Fairy Tail. That said I think the reason it's a standout for people is it chose to strike a unique cord through the use of folky/Celtic instrumentals at times.

No, not even close. Fairy Tail doesn’t have bad music by any means but it doesn’t even touch any Sawano soundtracks. It’s OST is serviceable for a low-stakes battle Shonen anime but any anime centred around music or has an OST that blends well with the themes of the show will do a better job of it. Fairy Tail has some great openings and endings at least though.

Some of the OPs are bangers or classics like the first one, I don’t really remember any of the OSTs or EDs though.
