| With the story drawing to a close, we can be certain, there won't be any romantic developments between the two. In some of the earlier chapters, it seemed, like their romance was gonna develop alongside the main one. They were talking to each other a lot, and they even had a chapter dedicated to them, where Nono called him handsome (chapter 67) Ultimately nothing much came out of it. The author just teased us about the possibility of another romance but never delivered. They seem to just be good friends and that's it. The way I see it, the author probably had it planned, but at some point, she changed her mind and focused solely on Magari and Nakami. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, but I just really wish those two had some more moments together. They both seemed like they had the potential to become interesting characters with some more development. Watching the anime, reminded me of those early Ukegawa and Nono moments and made me want to write this. Anyone else feels the same? |
