| Want to talk about weird? Citrus. Want to talk about way more weird? Conception. Tbf, you don't have to overthink to see that while yes, Miyako loves Hana, it's *not* a romantic love. Do you find dogs cute? Does that means you are romantically interested in them? No, right? I like to think the same logic applies to this. Comparing Miyako to, say, Koyomi from Monogatari series... it's pretty obvious who's the pedophile and who isn't lol. Ofc, this is all my opinion. You are free to keep your mentality. But let me tell you, most of the time it's better to stop thinking while watching anime. What stays on fiction, stays in there. |

| It looks like you only watched a summary or just ep 1. The show is pretty fun and cute on its own. I guess people are extremely off put by this impression that this show is about an adult “being in love with” a child. (Miyako is just 19yr old btw) The good thing about this show is that if you keep watching it, you see that the show is very aware that this theme is weird and pokes fun at the MC/ punishes for her actions. Also, it is very clearly shown in the anime that the MC Miyako does not have an “attraction to children” nor does she sees the girl she likes in any sexual manner. It is more or less just a deep affection(They show some compassion for each other). It is still weird per se, but the show does a good job at playing it as a joke, and both the MC and the girl are pretty aware of how weird this affection is. Also, the show doesn’t completely center on this theme throughout, most of the time each episode is your usual CGDCT shenanigans. It really is just a joke. Overall, aside from that, it is a very entertaining show. All I can say is just don’t judge a book by it’s cover. If you really can’t handle “lolis” just don’t watch the show. |
