I don't remember if in the anime they explain how Misaki Mei got the power to see who is the dead person in the school. I wonder how she got the green left eye.

Her eye had some sort of intection and one day she woke up to realize it had completely disappeared. Now she has this green eye as a replacement.

^ Yes, she got an eye infection as a little girl and it was removed. Her mother made her a false eye. She keeps it covered for reasons, I'm not sure if I'm going to spoil anything for you.

I watched it very long ago so I maybe wrong but as far as I remember, she got this weird disease like some sort of infection which caused her to lose her eye and then she got it removed and got a replacement.

Note: I don’t lazily watch 3-5 episodes, biasedly compare to other anime, or unfairly judge by surface level similarities. With every anime I start, I watch the entire series, both Japanese Sub & English Dub, then judge each anime based on what they present, to give an honest and fair rating.

oh nothing much really. When she was younger she got an eye infection and had to get an injection for it which eventually caused her to lose her eye. But then her mother made her a false eye and one day she just woke up and realized that that eye could..... yk. The rest is history.
