| I haven't read the manga but I get the feeling that this is a bit underrated for what it will be, looks pretty solid. |

| It hasn't done anything special, but my fears of it being a terrible adaptation have been squashed. I can't say it's done anything that elevates the source material, and all of the good points it has are good points the manga had as well, but it does do an fine job of portraying those good points, and that's what's important. My biggest fear going into it was that it was going to be horribly rushed, and that is not the case. I guess my biggest problem with it would be that they cut all the .5 chapters (and will probably cut the ones that are actually important to the story), as well as a lot of the mini-gags. Actually, there was a fair bit that was skipped, which has me worried, like and entire page that was left out of this episode. It kind of feels like the adaptation shaved away at the manga's soul with stuff like that. If it continues to adapt the manga like it has been, it will hopefully turn out to be a fantastic show, but there really isn't any reason to not just read the manga instead at this point.
