I think this should have the psychological tag

My reasoning?
This story goes very deep into the minds of its characters, it explores deeply their insecurities, their prejudices, their emotional pain, their relationship with each other and pushes them into questioning themselves, their motivations, feelings and believes about who they think they are and who they really are, what they think they feel and what they truly feel.
And that's just scratching the surface of the character development in this story.

Found this with a quick Google search:

"MAL definition. Psychological - Often when two or more characters prey each others' minds, either by playing deceptive games with the other or by merely trying to demolish the other's mental state."

So Love Is War for example is psychological because of that same definition, while YagaKimi isn't. If your definition applied to psychological tag, then MAL should also add them to Hunter x Hunter or anything that dives into the mental state of a character/s.

Not really. For example Tombstone for fireflies, Howl's moving castle or I want to eat your pancreas are dramas but they do not dive into the characters minds the way this show does at all.

I think those series should be tagged if the guideline were the real definition of a psychological story, but if that's how MAL's defines and clasifies psychological then I guess it can't be changed.
