How long would these movies have to be for them to be good?

There's over 100 chapters worth of content left and I'm not seeing how thats gonna fit in 2 movies unless they really long.

If you consider the fact that Karasuno vs Miya Twins lasted for like 10ish ep (200 min = 3 hr and 20 min), we'd need atleast 7 hours of the first movie to completely cover the First Nationals decently (though on movie format, I feel like the need to omit cliffhangers could allow for some time saving).

Then the last match + other content would need 7 hours......maybe 5.30 hours tbh, but still yeah.

I feel so sad that Haikyuu's end is going to be ruined by the pacing the studio opted for (if it is even animated in the first place).

I dont know how they will adept the nationals in one movie .The last arc its ok being a movie there is not that much content about that dont worry. The nationals movie needed like a 4 hours movie to be complete

U think its worth reading the manga if the movie doesn’t pan out?

Yeah, although haikyuu is more enjoyable to watch, it's not by a large margin, the manga is actually really good too. I personally loved the manga.

i’ve just accepted that it’s gonna suck, haikyuu is so special with the voice actors and other anime only aspects, but the manga is far better imo, so i’m not happy but knowing the manga ended rlly well is enough to keep me satisfied 😭

Wish all haikyu Fans could get together and crowd fund another 1x season at least. Or be like super rich to be able to fund the entire production..
