| No you would not be confused. Each of the 13 volume Viz release contain two self contained stories. As long as you know Golgo 13 is the ultimate sniper you will not be confused. if you are interested the series has also had two stories in comic books, a 3 issue set of comics that are all one story, and 4 graphic novels released in (I believe?) the 80s that also contain two stories each. Either way you can start anywhere with this series and not be confused. If you scour ebay or mecari for the other volumes you could just get lucky, I got volume 3 sealed for 30 bucks which is still a pretty penny but not in the 100 dollar range. Hope you enjoy what is probably the most classic manga of all time. |
| Adding on to what camrondipset said, 80% of the entire manga is untranslated. It's partially the reason it isn't as popular as other franchises. |
