Personally, I like this anime. Especially, I like the characters’ complicated relations with each other and how the story goes in each episode.
When I watched this anime broadcast on TV in the real time, I was a high schooler like the characters in the anime. At that time, I didn’t have any friends who actually watched it on TV like me around, yet I kept watching it to the last episode. There was a friend of mine who knew and loved the anime “ToraDora” which had the same directer, scenario writer, and character designer as Ano Natsu de Matteru (Waiting in the Summer). She actually recommended me to watch “ToraDora”, but I haven’t been able to watch it yet. Of course, I know it is one of the best animations made by J.C. Staff.

I don’t remember if there was a movie version of the animation, but I would love to see it if there was because the whole story is composed of about 12 episodes, which is not difficult for the animation staff to summarize the scenario into a one movie- length story and add the additional scenes.

As for the opening and ending songs, I like the latter one. I have known the singer “Yanaginagi” since she debuted in NicoNico Douga (the popular Japanese video hosting site) as “Gazel”. I love her songs, especially “Kimi no Shiranai Monogatari” (the story you don’t know) and “Sayonara Memories”(Goobye memories) while she was working as “Nagi” in supercell. Those sentimental lyrics and rhythms of the songs with her clear but melting singing voice went directly into my heart at that time.
The ending theme song “Vidro Moyou” is expressed blue and forlorn with her voice, so it matches the story of the anime perfectly.

Talking about this anime, I feel like watching it again, maybe in English version for the next time.

If I'm being honest in hindsight this isn't like one of the best Romance anime or something, but when I was getting into anime thos was the 3rd show I watched and really loved it (except for the sci-fi MiB ending). It was complicated and yet somehow comforting at the same time. Just thinking about it makes me feel good for some reason.
I personally think it's a show worth watching and it's amazing that it's celebrating its 10th anniversary
Congratulations to everyone involved in making this anime, it's a really good piece of entertainment and one I'll hold close to my heart.

I didn't love the story but I did love the animation.

I'm guessing it's been 10 years since the animecame out?? (Or am I legit being stupid?)
But if so then damn. I didn't know this anime was that old/came out that long ago.

This anime doesnt give you what you want (or atleast for me) and it's annoying but without spoiling it, I think it's important for any story to not give the viewers what they want to see cause it challenges your views.

I think if you've already seen the whole anime you know what I mean (or atleast I hope so)

Also this anime does seem to be somewhat unknown and not over hyped on social media. It's like it flies under the radar or is one of those gems that goes unnoticed but it is a good watch. No regrets it was cute

Okay let's be clear that it reminds of PLEASE TEACHER very much. But I like this show for the story and characters. Music hits perfectly and the ending made me literally think that why did I even watch this. Now I'm feeling that thank glad that I watched this anime. Can it return ?

# One question though just how did it end in original story ?

#Did they end up together or it's like Darling in the francmxx and Your lie in April ?

It is one of the most favourite anime in my collection, although there was happy ending but that moment was very small,I wish there should be an ova at least.....
