Imagine:
Edgerunners season 2. Lucy is the female V, she changed everything and was able to create a new identity. The first episode shows Lucy working as Arasaka corporative, during the years she met Jackie and then she will meet Johnnie. So the whole plot... till she can take her personal vengance with Arasaka and Adam Smasher.

Wouldn't work since V can be either gender and come from mutiple places, the moon isn't one of them, and in the story it makes more sense for V to be male.

Personally I think it would just ruin the series, what we got was already basically perfect and it’s realistic for the cyberpunk world. As much as I would love to see Lucy again, it would just make the impact from the first season feel a lot less because the ending we got hit so HARD that doing another season would just feel like a money grab. I’d love to see a spin off of other characters in the cyberpunk world but as for Lucy and David’s story I think it’s over (sadly)

I feel like there are two routes if we get a season 2: either make it a prequel that shows how the crew got together before David joined, or make it focus on an entirely new cast of characters with a different story. Following Lucy after season 1 would be hard since that ending hit right square in the heart.(it’s been 4 days and I still haven’t gotten over that damn ending 🤧)

i think that if a season 2 comes to exist that it is either about completely different people or has a good ending for lucy and david. for me id like the plot to be lucy working with v and rogue to get david’s construct (personally i think smasher still could’ve made him a construct) and then some cyberspace bullshit will happen idk. could tie in well with the game as a proper side quest
