i watched i want to eat ur pancreas first....so yea...i like it over your lie in april..IWTYP has a good animation...and i really like the character sakura yamouchi....And how she express her pain...Like when she go on vacation with haruki shiga...and at last"What if i told you i'm scared"...❤️❤️❤️it has a huge effwct on my life...i just love it after 5 CM per second

I WANT TO EAT YOU PANCREAS feels more generic and gives a realistic feel to them who really understands the feelings of the mc
and when is comes to YLIA then I can totally say that it's more painful and depressing anime with a little bit of melo dramatic scenes but i like those cuz it's the MC's feeling which we are seeing
ALTHOUGH both are literally fucking masterpiece and there story is a bit same
so I will better enjoy them separately rather than comparing them

pancreas has a fast story line, because it is a movie. But the episodes 5-13 are quiet a drag in your lie in April.

Your Lie in April in my opinion. I feel sympathy for Sakura's death. But I didn't really like how she was leading Haruki on in the beginning of their relationship. She made all sorts of suggestions at an intimate relationship between her and Haruki. But then when he comes on to her, she wants to act like he's in the wrong. And I don't like how the story makes it seem like Haruki is the cause of the problem for why he's mistreated as a loner. None of the kids in his school (besides Sakura) made an attempt at getting to know him. And I found Sakura's friend, Kyouko, annoying in her hate for Haruki. They barely even knew each other. But you would've sworn she had a thing for him with how passionate she was in her hate for him.

Totally agree the ending was nice but the story was dragged out too much 13 episodes should have been enough maybe even 16 episodes.

I think it would be ludicrous to compare both the Anime. IWEYP is a movie and YLIA is a series. The movies do not include detailed backstories and character outlooks of the people whereas series have all the timely liberties to make a detailed sketch of its characters. Both IWEYP and YLIA are excellent pieces of art which display emotions, love, friendship and importance of cherishing life in a simple yet sentimental complexities.
