Both of the anime have kind of a same story line. Pancreas was my first anime film. And it made me really sad. After that i watched YLIA but it seemed a bit lagging to me compared with Pancres.

BOTH ARE MASTERPIECES. YOU CAN'T COMPARE 2 MASTERPIECES . AND I ALSO FEEL THAT BOTH HAVE A BIT SAME STORY. JUST THE WAY OF SHOWING IT WAS DIFFERENT IN BOTH.

Both are absolutely masterpieces.
It all comes down if you prefer TV series or movie format.

Actually l loved the live adaptation of I want to eat your pancreas more than the anime , maybe because l saw the live action before the anime.

Usually live action movies of anime are bad, but this live adaptation was amazing mostly because it's a drama based anime.

Pancreas is more realistic and also the twist is brilliant for delivering messages about appreciating lives. April has music obviously but the slow death is less impactful imo.
Truth is absolute but human perception of truth is always relative.

Despite the very predictable outcome behind I want to eat your pancreas, I find the whole story going on a lot more impactful and engaging than in Your Lie in April.

Both are good but personally your lie is my favourite one its even in my top 10, i think your lie is better because it takes its time to develop the character while pancreas can't do that much because of its movie format.

both are great, April built up the characters themselves more especially with a longer run time. Pancreas built up the characters enough then proceeded to build up the inevitability of her death and the fact it WILL end. Both expertly done but I'd have to tip the scale to Pancreas since it accomplished equal or more emotions in movie form

Thats really harf question because they had different stories different worlds and different characters. Both of them make s people sad and depressed. But maybee little bit you arw lie in april is more better than i want eat your pancreas because there is a main thing that characters study to or interested in

Let me say this to you, I watched Eat your pancreas I was deeply sad
I watched Your lie in April, couldn't even complete it but was devastated and yet I smiled on the outside. The pain is deeper but you show yourself to be alright but shattered Deep down.

Personally, not even a competition, I enjoyed I want to eat your pancreas soooo much, personally a 9-10/10, while My lie April was a 5-6/10, that is just my opinion though.
