| Same old stuff as Season 1. Disappointed with the lack of visual upgrades. Same old basic animation. Same few girls. Same rinse and repeat cycle as far as the story goes - start low-level in new place, level up but ultimately gets booted onto another new place ... and repeat. Then around 400-th episode, improvement becomes apparent. Visuals showed a slight improvement, but more importantly, focus changed from quantity to quality - no more massive number of cooker-cutter characters, but fewer characters with depth and better animation. MC has also become more serious and badass (compared to his former happy-go-lucky self). I'm looking forward to finishing all 400-th to 520-th episodes in this Season! |
