Rating is average. Veryyy average. And it's quite old. Should I spend my weekend watching it or something else.
Don't just say read manga. I came here for highly acclaimed manga ofc but I got to know about it from an OST on YT. I am just curious.
I only read manga if an anime plot is too good that I can't wait for next season. Like for Kaguya, JJK, OPM, Iruma kun etc.

It is actually fire. If they réadapted it, there would be a lot of hype. But if you want a good story then it is damn interesting and the manga is good too.

Pandora Hearts got screwed.

As someone who watched the anime first, I remember thinking the anime was one of the greatest things and because of that I went for the manga. After reading the manga though, I realized how awful the anime was. I’ll just say it, this is one of the shows that got filler for an ending.

It has one of the most complicated stories with brilliant writing and plot twists I promise you’ll never see coming. However, the anime only adapted early chapters of the manga where things are barely unraveling and could be confusing for viewers. Most people only see this as some kind of twisted Alice in Wonderland concept when it’s much more.

As you stated you just want to know about the anime, my suggestion is still watch it regardless. But watch it without having expectations because the manga has a lot of high scores and realistically the anime didn’t do it justice, be it animation and direction. Only thing I’ll give the anime credit is brilliant soundtracks.

I love Pandora Hearts. It’s my favorite manga but not my favorite anime sadly.

That’s what I did. Now Pandora is my all time favorite so I definitely recommend that route.

I think it’s around chapter 32 or 33.
