| Not really. I mean S5 is the worst one by far, but the good thing about Food Wars is the characters that the show has, so no matter how bad the story/plot is, you’ll enjoy it (not saying the story is bad, it’s an example). I really enjoyed the series and don’t look too much at the scores, S4 was my favorite one, even though it’s one of the worsts in terms of ratings. Also, the show is completely adapted so it has an ending. |

| I mean I wasn’t super impressed with the 5th season, definitely felt rushed and over the top. BUT food wars does maintain quality with its characters, art and for sho the music 👌🏼 First few seasons really are dope and funny (yukihira soma kills me I love him) But ey if you like watching cooking in general, then DAMN CHECK FOOD WARS OUT THE COOKING PROCES ITSELF IS THE REAL DEAL The way they throw food together is undeniable impressive (art and execution) Watch it for the mad cooking skills dude |

| Because Animation had a drop every season so did scores. Though not too much. Its state more like MHA rather than other example u mentioned If its unbearable for u with slight bit decease in quality, I suggest u not watch it |

| The story was fine up to season 4,this last season is the only problem.So atleast watch upto season 4,and you won't disappointed. Don't let the score bother you that much |

Honestly, I think the show peaks at, the 10 episode season, the Second Plate, and this final season is one of the lowest points in the series. Not to say it’s really bad, but by the time I got to this season I started to care far less for what was happening. They could have wrapped it up and ended the series the season before this one, but you can tell there was still one small thing they wanted to conclude between some characters and you don’t get that until the very end of this season because they throw in this villain that feels like filler and proposes little threat, from my eyes at least. It’s a good series overall, but definitely falls off halfway through will animation that becomes less and less intriguing, albeit with stellar still shots of finished cuisines, and less and less interesting innovations with its storytelling and challenges with its food. The ecchi elements feel same-y and the background characters feel evermore stagnant and boring with more and more characters being introduced only to later fall to the same position as the rest of the side cast. Give it a watch and after you finish the Second Plate season, consider if you wish to continue and if you believe you may get more out of the show! |

I also wish to add, it’s really common for a popular show’s score on this site to drop with every new season. AOT, Fruit’s Basket, and Gintama are outliers to this, but those shows are also more popular, have less seasons, and a stronger supporting fan base alike. |

| Watch it!! The whole series sets itself apart from average anime… I’d say the 5th season way the worst but every other season held it’s own! 9/10 overall series imo. |
