At least they behaved like normal couples and there was less chuunibyou stuff as it was supposed to happen after first season.
It is shocking to find how many people do not believe they can learn, and how many more believe learning to be difficult.

That's exactly what I thought too.

This OVA was much better that the second season.

Personal Opinion as for me Every Season, Movie and the OVA are on the same level if I re-watch Chuunibyou I would watch everything even the OVA

Lol the ova was great
Tho I wouldn't say it was better then all of season 2 there were parts in there that I liked a lot

I really enjoy the second season. Not every “romance” anime gives us time to watch our favorite pair grow as a COUPLE. Like actually dating.

And after all the heaviness towards the end of the first season it was nice to see that they took the characters we grew attached to and made it a more traditional slice of life (though my guess is this part of the LN has a different tone)

The day after I finished S1 (and the OVA) I watched the first episode of S2. But if you took a break between the two I can see why you’d be disappointed in the second season for not touching on the topics that the first one did
