How many references are there?

I know the obvious ones such as dorothy being connected to wizard of oz., alviss being connected to peter pan, princess snow being snow white, but I was wondering how deep does it go? I see some other characters and they remind me of other stories so is like every character a reference or like only a select few?

Most characters in MAR are based around fairy tale characters. Like Jack, Mr. Hook, and a few others. I think even Jiraiya is one. Some might be odd, but most are known characters.
