I’m looking forward to this as gymnastics is one of my favorite sports You..might have the wrong series. This is Pretty Boy Detective Club, a series about a group of gorgeous boys who solve mysterious that they find beautiful in one way or another. Hyouta likes sports, and I bet he'd be great at gymnastics, but I don't believe he does any at least in the first 3 novels. Perhaps you are referring to "Bakuten!!" ? Another series airing this season which is about gymnastics. |

Nisioisin has a way of writing super super short chapters so we could be seeing 10 chapters an episode. All the promotional stuff seems to show stuff from the first book, but we all think we'll be seeing way more than just the first book. It should be episodic, yes. |

It should be episodic, yes. is this as good as monogatari or kubikiri?I'm kind conflited in watch this because i dont like the idea of "pretty boys doing things". Well... I think it is. But popular belief is it's not the same type of series. Don't go in thinking it's going to be just like Monogatari or some of NISIOISIN's other works. It seriously is just a series of Pretty Boys solving mysteries in ways they deem Beautiful. They go against things like secret organizations, the government, other schools, etc. I'd say give it 2 or 3 episodes, then decide to either drop it or stick with it. |
