Question regarding watch order

Hi, I am on episode 19 as of now. Should I watch the movies after I finish the series? I have heard some people say that the second movie is really good and that it recreates the ending. So I was wondering if I could directly watch the movie ending instead of watching the end of the series first and then the movie. Also, where does the first movie stand in all of this? Please help.

I’m pretty sure that both movies are just recreations of the series. So I would just finish watching the show as-is. And then maybe watch the movies after if you want to.

The movies are recreations covering the original series yes, but there are several things altered that I won’t spoil. (Not too major but it is interesting enough to check out imo) I would finish the series first, and if you want more or are curious about the changes, then watch the movies. The ending is great on both but I actually prefer the movie’s final fight.
