| So something I've been wondering for a while is how come there's never been an official English release of the manga? I have read the fan translation from CXC Scans and loved it and it confuses me as to why the anime got an English dub but the manga it's based on never made it over to the west. Has Viz (I assume Viz would publish it if it came over here) ever said anything as to why there's no English release or anything of the sort? Trust me if it came over to the west i'd buy all 16 volumes. |
| I don't really think there's an explicit reason why it doesn't have an official translation. There are plenty of good manga with animes that have never gotten official translations. Publishers don't translate manga into English out of the goodness of their hearts, they do it for the sweet sweet cash. Binbougami Ga! might not have had enough financial viability for publishers to bring it over to the rest of the world. |
| Yeah that's probably the case. Just find it weird the anime got the dub treatment but the manga didn't but at the same time I am thankful someone was able to give us an unofficial English translation. It's not gonna happen but here's hoping maybe Viz gives this manga a shot here in the west. I could see them advertising it as "From the author of "Twin Star Exorcists" or something like that if they did |
